Quoting my personal Logbook - Nov 1st, 2013. I’m dreaming. I’m standing in water. I notice having long, sharp claws. I can see from the reflection of the water that I have turned into a tiger. Orange fur, black stripes, sharp teeth, and claws.  I want meat, lots of meat. I want to rip open the stomach, mutilate the intestines, sink my teeth into the heart, and crush the lungs. I get scared of my strength, retract my claws, and try to look as nice as possible. I want to find the power of the tiger hidden in my mind, the supple muscles and sharp claws - but I don't want to tear anyone apart with my thoughts.  I have seen too many man-eating tigers, especially in the workplace, rolling forward, blinded by their own goals, maiming and trampling others.  …  I wake up, stunned by my strength. What could this mean, I wonder once awakened. I take responsibility for my thoughts, my feelings, and the power of my intuition. I want to be a VegeTiger, so strong and kind that there is no fear. We can meet in a fearless zone. This feels liberating. I jump onto a tree branch, the sun is shining, I purr contentedly. The jungle is peaceful. … In the next weeks or months, I often stopped to think about my dream. Here are some unorganized thoughts popping up.  Old beliefs and habits no longer hold. Strength is still needed, but now it is the power of the VegeTiger. But can a man-eating tiger become a vegetarian? Perform a mental quantum jump, and regenerate a new identity?  What is the power of the VegeTiger? It is personal and inner integrity; taking responsibility for one's own life; reconciliation with oneself and others; moderation, cooperation, and community; effortless achievement of goals; presence and power that does not threaten anyone; sensitivity and agility; the ability to move forward and stop. One way to summarise my dream is this: I want to become a VegeTiger, unleash my power, and stop being afraid of my strength. … My first VegeTale was born soon after this dream, but it took time to publish anything — the title: Black Belt in Mind Defense.
